Great ovation for Dreamscape and Rarefazioni di luce in Buffalo

Great ovation and success for Valentini’s premiere Dreamscape and for Rarefazioni di Luce in Buffalo with the Camerata di Sant’Antonio and the conductor Christopher Weber.
The concert, called “Una bella serata”, was held at the church of Sant’Antonio da Padova, full of people for the event. Dreamscape is a piece for string orchestra written in the United States and dedicated to the village of Hamburg, NY, as a sort of daydream.

In this segment of the Vince Anello show, we will make a quick turn from politics and local issues that we normally discuss. Because of tribal politics and a local issues, we sometimes overlook some of the great things that do happen in our area. We have many great artists, musicians and writers.
Music is food for the soul. Our guest today is Cesare Valentini, a composer from Florence, Italy and studied in Milan. He is visiting our area. Some of his work will be featured this Sunday, October 21, 7:00pm at St. Anthony of Padua Church behind Buffalo City Hall.

30 days time-out for 2 violins and piano will be premiered at Chromatic Club Buffalo

The piece is based on the book of Antonella Di Giulio and will be performed by her at the piano and by Noemi and Efrem Bekteshi at the violins. The concert will be at Chromatic Club in Buffalo in October 14th at 3 p.m.

From Antonella Di Guilio:
“When I started writing my journal, in January 2017, I had no idea that what I was writing was going to become a book at one point.
At first I only thought that the journal of the time-out was simply a cute gift idea for the person who was imposing the time-out at that point.
Then I realized that it was too interesting and emotionally challenging for the book to remain just a gift idea. And the story slowly became more intricate and deep.
It was a search for the truth on my end.

In my musical journey I have been taught to search for the truth in any work of art, which is the highest possible level of knowledge we can reach through honesty and integrity in our work as artists and through the expression of the purest moral values as human being.

Now that story has inspired something more than just written words and painting.

30 Days Time-out is becoming Truth.
And there is nothing better than music to express the truth.

Come and listen to Antonella, Noemi Bekteshi and Efrem Bekteshi performing the premiere of “30 Days Time-out” composed by Cesare Valentini on October 14, at the Chromatic Club Buffalo’s opening recital.”
